Product Management - Nebim V3

Manage Your Product Portfolio from a Single Hub

Sustainable growth in retail and wholesale trade is built on offering the right product at the right time, in the right place, and at the right price. Achieving this balance — while managing thousands of SKUs — requires data-driven decisions rather than intuition. The Nebim V3 Product Management module enables you to manage the entire lifecycle of your product portfolio from a single hub, from season planning to sales analysis.

The module brings together core capabilities such as merchandise planning, category management, product allocation and transfer, performance analytics, and BOM configuration to transform your product strategy into operational efficiency. While maintaining product data consistency across different sales channels, stores, and warehouses, it delivers data-driven insights at every decision point.

Merchandise Planning

Build your portfolio aligned with your strategic goals through season, collection, and category-based product planning. Leverage historical sales data, inventory turnover rates, and trend analyses to determine in advance how much to invest in each product group. Distribute your budget efficiently across categories with Open to Buy (OTB) calculations, and retain the flexibility to revise mid-season.

Category Management

Create your product tree in a multi-layered hierarchical structure; flexibly define attribute sets and variant structures such as color, size, and number. Meet industry-specific variant needs in a single system — size-color matrix in apparel, number-model structure in footwear, and lens-frame pairing in optics. This classification brings clarity to reporting, analytics, and inventory management.

  • Unlimited-level hierarchical product tree
  • Industry-specific variant structures (size-color, number, measurement)
  • Flexible product definition with attribute sets
  • Bulk product update and data enrichment tools

Product Allocation & Transfer

Balance stock across stores using automated rules. Set up smart allocation and transfer processes that take into account sales velocity, store capacity, regional demand differences, and seasonal trends. This structure reduces lost sales and increases inventory turnover by liquidating excess stock and preventing shortages. Automatic replenishment algorithms continuously monitor stock levels against defined thresholds and generate purchase or transfer suggestions before shelves run empty. Stock rotation rules ensure older inventory is prioritized for sale, reducing markdowns.

The system recommends the ideal stock distribution for each store based on its sales potential. For newly opened stores, you can make allocations using data from similarly profiled stores, and automatically redirect end-of-season products to high-sales-potential locations. Season management capabilities allow you to plan, open, and close seasonal collections in a controlled manner, including product completion workflows that consolidate remaining sizes and colors at the end of a season.

Product Analytics

Discover the true potential of your products with sales performance, inventory turnover rate, gross profit margin, and trend reports. Measure which model performs best on which channel and at which location, and base your collection decisions on data. Use ABC analysis to segment your products into A (high volume), B (medium), and C (low) categories, and define the appropriate stock and pricing strategy for each group.

BOM Sales Configurator

Offer set and bundled products by breaking them down into components or combining them. Create customer-specific configurations, define bundle pricing, and automatically perform component-level stock deductions. This structure supports different business models such as furniture sets in the furniture sector, set sales in apparel, and gift packages in housewares.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which industries is the Product Management module suitable for?

The Nebim V3 Product Management module is suitable for all multi-SKU retail and wholesale trade sectors, primarily ready-to-wear, footwear, accessories, optics, furniture, housewares, and cosmetics. Industry-specific variant structures (size-color, number, measurement, pattern, etc.) for each sector can be defined flexibly.

What is the difference between merchandise planning and Open to Buy (OTB)?

Merchandise planning is the entirety of the product strategy at the season and category level. OTB is the budget dimension of this planning — it shows how much purchasing budget remains for a given period. In Nebim V3, both structures work in an integrated way; you can track the difference between the planned budget and actual purchases in real time.

Is product allocation performed automatically?

Yes. The system generates automatic allocation recommendations based on store sales velocity, capacity, regional demand, and seasonal data. You can approve these recommendations directly or adjust them with manual intervention. For new stores, allocation is made by referencing data from similarly profiled locations.

Can the Product Management module be used on its own?

Product Management is one of the core modules of Nebim V3 ERP and works in integration with the Sales, Purchasing, and Warehouse Management modules. It can be activated on its own, but for maximum efficiency it is recommended to use it together with at least the Sales module.
